Introduction
This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the final assembly and spot-welding activities to ensure the production of high-quality products in alignment with the production plan and export orders.
Job description


Oversee the assembly, testing, and packaging of products in accordance with the relevant specifications, procedures, and quality standards.

Provide training to supervisors and operators, ensuring adherence to instructions and procedures.

Identify and report any assembly or quality issues to the Factory Manager and Quality Manager.

Implement and maintain corrective and preventative actions as directed by the Factory Manager and QC Manager.

Monitor operator performance, efficiency, and output, recommending and implementing changes to improve production performance.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment through effective housekeeping practices.

Ensure that all finished products are properly identified and labelled.

Ensure the availability of correct drawings, tools, and materials required to complete orders.

Confirm that all necessary work documents are available before starting production lines.

Enforce safety and health standards in line with the OSHACT system.

Minimum requirements


Grade 12 (Senior Certificate).

Technical or Production Qualification.

A National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.

Proven experience in a production environment.

Computer Literacy.

Strong communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
