Introduction
The Quality Assurance Manager leads and continuously improves the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for quality planning, internal auditing, CAPA management, customer complaint resolution, quality engineering, risk management, and document control governance.
Job description
•Implement, maintain, and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
•Own document control policies, procedures, templates, and approval workflows.
•Develop and lead the annual Internal Audit Programme, including cross-functional audits.
•Manage the company-wide CAPA system, driving root cause analysis and verifying effectiveness.
•Handle customer complaints, corrective actions, and 8D reporting.
•Lead quality engineering activities including PFMEA, process capability studies, and new product introduction support.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•Develop and maintain the Quality Risk Management Procedure and organisational Risk Register.
•Report audit and quality performance to Executive Management.

Minimum requirements
•Bachelor's Degree in either
oMechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Metallurgy or Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
•ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.
Advantageous:
oLean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, APQP & PPAP training, PFMEA & Control Plan training, ISO 14001/45001 auditor qualifications, Project Management qualification.
Experience:
•Minimum 7 years' quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Minimum 3 years in a leadership/management role.
•Proven track record implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 systems.
•Experience leading internal audit programmes and managing CAPA/customer complaint systems.
•Advantageous: electrotechnical/electrical manufacturing experience; familiarity with IEC/UL standards; experience with international certifications and global quality systems.
•Minimum 7 years' quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Minimum 3 years in a leadership/management role.
•Proven track record implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 systems.
•Experience leading internal audit programmes and managing CAPA/customer complaint systems.
